About

Tara's Background

Tara, originally from Ireland has made the Adelaide Hills home for the last 14 years. As a young child in Ireland, her love of physical activities and holistic health was developed through participating in equestrian activities and running. In Ireland Tara completed specialised study in holistic health including:

  • ITEC Diploma in Anatomy Physiology & Body Massage
  • ITEC Diploma in Diet and Nutrition
  • ITEC Diploma in Aromatherapy
  • ITEC Diploma in Indian Head Massage

and gained experience working with athletes and individuals seeking relief from pain and stress.

On arrival in Australia 14 years ago, Tara's passion for working with racehorses led her to become a jockey here in SA.

"Since retiring as a jockey, and becoming a mother to my beautiful daughter, I decided to pursue my passion back into the health and wellness industry by training in remedial massage. With my background in horse racing, I know firsthand the demands and stress placed on the body by rigorous athletic activity."
